How to Run a Yearly Report

Requesting a yearly report of your drives from MileIQ is easier than ever! You can choose between two convenient methods to get your report emailed to you:

  1. Mobile App – The Quickest Way
  2. Web Dashboard – The Most Control

Mobile App – The Quickest Way

  1. Classify your drives: Ensure all your drives for the year are properly classified.
  2. Open the app: Launch the MileIQ mobile app.
  3. Tap the Share/Send button: Located in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Select the year: Choose the year you’d like to report.

That’s it! Check your email for a message with downloadable CSV and PDF files, including a summary section with the information you need for tax or reimbursement purposes.

Web Dashboard – The Most Control

To generate a detailed report or print mileage information for reimbursement, follow these steps using the MileIQ web dashboard:

Step 1: Sign In

Visit dashboard.mileiq.com and log in using the same email and password as your app.

Step 2: Classify Drives

Ensure all drives are classified to maximize your reimbursement. Use the Bulk-Classify Drives feature for efficiency.

Step 3: Generate a Report

Option 1: Using the "Reports" Tab

  1. Click the Reports tab in the left menu.
  2. Use the report creation tool to:
    • Select a yearly date range (e.g., "Last Year" for 2022).
    • Filter drives by purpose (e.g., business drives).
  3. Click Create this report to name it and choose a delivery method:
    • Email
    • Concur (for organizations using MileIQ Teams Standard/Pro)
    • Download directly from the dashboard.

Once created, reports are saved under Archived Reports. You can download them anytime in CSV or PDF format.

Option 2: Using the "Drives" Tab

For more specific reports:

  1. Go to the Drives tab.
  2. Set the date filter to Last Year and refine by drive purpose, vehicle, or other details.
  3. Select all filtered drives using the checkbox below the search bar.
  4. Click the green Report button.

If the Report button is grayed out, it means there are unclassified drives. Use the Unclassified tab to classify them before proceeding.
