You might notice that sometimes a driver’s drives are missing or not tracked for a certain period. This usually happens because of location permissions or tracking settings on the driver’s device.
Check the driver’s location permissions
For automatic background tracking to work correctly, MileIQ requires location permissions to be set to Always. If a driver changes their permission to While in use, the app won’t be able to track drives when it’s running in the background.
Ask your driver to:
Open the device Settings.
Locate the MileIQ app.
Ensure Location Access is set to Always.
Once this setting is updated, MileIQ should resume tracking drives normally.
Confirm app and device settings
Make sure the driver has the latest version of the MileIQ app installed.
Check that the driver hasn’t manually paused tracking in the app.
Ensure their device hasn't been in low power or battery-saving mode, which can limit background activity.
