We’re here to help you and your business get the most out of MileIQ’s mileage-tracking tools. Below is a comprehensive FAQ guide covering our three offerings: Teams Lite, Teams, and Teams Pro.


💸 Pricing

What are the costs for each Teams plan?

  • Teams Lite: $8/month per user or $80/year per user

  • Teams: $9/month per user or $90/year per user

  • Teams Pro: $10/month per user or $100/year per user

Is there a choice between monthly and annual plans?

Yes. All plans offer monthly and annual billing options. However, the billing cycle must be the same for the entire team (you cannot mix monthly and annual plans per user).

Will adding or removing users affect the pricing?

Yes. Pricing is calculated on a per-user basis. Adding or removing users will increase or decrease your overall cost accordingly.

⚠️ Changes in cost will only take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Do I have to pay for each user separately?

No. All users are billed under a single payment method for the entire team.

Can I update payment info or change the number of seats?

Yes! All tiers support a centralized billing interface, making it easy to:

  • Update your payment method and details

  • Unused seats are automatically removed at renewal

How does user management work?

Admins can:

  • Add or remove drivers

  • Transfer seats to new users

  • View and manage the team roster

  • Assign themselves as a driver if needed

  • Manage custom rates (Pro)
  • Add Teams Locations (Pro)
  • Add report reminders (Pro)

🔹 Teams Lite and Teams support one admin. Teams Pro supports multiple admins.


🔧 Reporting & Drive Data Access

Can admins see users’ drives?

  • Teams Lite: No. Users must email reports to the admin manually.

  • Teams & Teams Pro: Yes. Admins can view submitted reports directly in the web dashboard.

How are reports submitted?

Users can:

  • Submit monthly or annual reports through the MileIQ mobile app or web dashboard

  • Email a copy to themselves for personal records

Submitted reports will appear in a sortable, searchable portal accessible via the admin dashboard (Teams & Teams Pro only).


🚗 Drive Tracking Policies

Does MileIQ support FAVR (Fixed and Variable Rate Allowance)?

Not directly. However, MileIQ partners with a third-party provider that supports FAVR programs using MileIQ data.

Which countries are supported?

MileIQ Teams is currently supported in:

  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom

  • 🇺🇸 United States

  • 🇨🇦 Canada


📄 Additional Pro Features

Can I assign more than one admin?

Only Teams Pro allows for multiple admins. The primary admin can assign others as subordinate admins to:

  • View and manage reports

  • Invite users

  • Adjust mileage rates

Can I set a custom mileage reimbursement rate?

Yes. With Teams Pro, admins can set a team-wide reimbursement rate through the admin portal at any time.
