Using the Reports View (U.S.)
The Reports View in MileIQ is your central hub for creating, viewing, and downloading mileage reports. Whether you're submitting reports for reimbursement, taxes, or recordkeeping, the Report Builder makes it simple and customizable.
Getting Started: Accessing the Reports View
- Log in to your MileIQ Web Dashboard.
- Click the Reports tab from the left-hand navigation menu.
Building a Report
In the Reports View, use the Report Selectors at the top to define the drives you want to include:
1. Date Selector
- Choose a custom date range or use a preset filter like "This Month" or "Last Year".
2. Drive Type Selector
- Select the type of drives to include:

All Drives (default)

Business Drives
-
Personal Drives
-
All Drives (default)
For more advanced filtering, go to the Drives View, apply your filters there, and create the report directly from that view.
3. Vehicle Selector
- Include drives from All Vehicles or choose specific vehicles using the checkboxes.
Important: Make your selections from left to right. Changing an earlier selector (e.g., date range) will reset any selections made to the right (e.g., drive type or vehicle).
Generating a Report
Once you’ve selected your criteria, click Create this report to open the Report Creation window.
Required Field

Report Name – Give your report a label. This is the only mandatory field.
Optional Fields

Delivery Method:
-
Email – Sends the report to your registered email.

Concur – Submits the report to your linked Concur account (if applicable).

Email – Sends the report to your registered email.

Additional Recipients – Add other email addresses (separated by commas).

Submitted By – Add your name to appear in the “Submitted by” section.

Client/Customer Name – Display a specific client’s name on the report.

Project Name – Include a project title for added context.

Business Rate – Customize the reimbursement rate (if needed).
This rate is only used in the generated report and won’t affect your dashboard data. To change your default business rate permanently, update it in your Settings.

Mark as Reported – Choose "Yes" to mark included drives as reported (useful for organizing and tracking).
When you're ready, click Create Report.
Viewing & Downloading Your Report
Once created, your report will appear in the Archived Reports section of the Reports View.
- Reports are automatically generated in PDF and CSV formats.
- Use the Download buttons to save your preferred version:

PDF – Great for sharing or printing; includes clean formatting.

CSV – Ideal for editing or analyzing in Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers.

Each report includes:
- Summary totals
- A detailed list of all drives that match your selected criteria
