How to Request Drive Reports (CSV & PDF)

MileIQ makes it simple to generate reports of your captured drives. You can request reports in CSV (XLS) or PDF formats through two methods:

  • Mobile App

  • Web Dashboard

Note: The format and level of detail in reports may vary depending on the method used.


📱 Mobile App Reports

Reports requested from the mobile app will be sent to the email address associated with your MileIQ account.

🔸 Monthly Reports (Mobile)

When you request a Monthly Report, you’ll receive three separate files:

  1. All Drives (XLS) – includes all drives for the month

  2. All Drives (PDF) – detailed PDF log of all drives

Each report includes:

  • Drive date

  • Purpose

  • Start and end locations

  • Mileage total

  • Value of mileage

  • Parking and tolls

  • Total value per drive


🔸 Annual Reports (Mobile)

When requesting an Annual Report, you’ll receive:

  1. Summary Report (XLS)

    • Breakdown of Business, Commute, and Personal drives

    • Totals separated by vehicle

    • Summary of parking and toll costs per vehicle

  2. Detailed Log (XLS & PDF)

    • Start/end dates and times

    • Classification and purpose

    • Start/stop locations

    • Mileage, value, parking, tolls

    • Total value per drive

Reports from the web dashboard can be:

  • Emailed to your account address

  • Or downloaded directly from the Archived Reports section under the Reports tab

All reports generated here include two versions (XLS + PDF):

🔸 XLS Version

  • Detailed log of all selected drives

  • Includes:

    • Start/end times and dates

    • Classification and purpose

    • Locations

    • Distance and mileage value

    • Parking and tolls

    • Tiered rate breakdown

      • Rate Tier 1: < 5,000km

      • Rate Tier 2: > 5,000km

  • PDF Reports are best viewed in:

    • Adobe Reader

    • Preview (macOS)

    • Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome

  • XLS Reports are compatible with:

    • Microsoft Excel

    • Apple Numbers

    • Google Sheets

    • Note: These reports are dynamic—rates and mileage entries can be adjusted, and totals will update automatically.

  • Edit Drives: Editing Drives – Any changes made will only reflect after re-generating a report.

  • Unspecified Drives: Drives without an assigned vehicle are marked as “-unspecified-”. Quickly assign vehicles using: How to Search for Drives
