How to update your email address

This article explains how to update it depending on your subscription type and the platform you're using. The MileIQ mobile app does not currently support self-service email changes. To update your email, please use the web dashboard (if you're on an individual plan) and follow the instructions below. 


🌐 Web Dashboard

You can update your email address directly from the MileIQ web dashboard:

  1. Log in to the web dashboard and go to Settings > Profile > Contact Info.
  2. Click Edit next to your email address.
  3. Enter your new email address.
  4. Enter your current password to verify the change.
  5. Click Save email.

After saving:

  • A verification email will be sent to your new address — click the link in that email to confirm the change.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to your old address to notify you of the update.

Note: This option is only available if you signed up with an email and password. If you registered using Google or Apple, your email is managed through those accounts and cannot be changed within MileIQ.


🤝 Teams users

If you're on a Teams plan, the email field in your profile is read-only and cannot be changed through self-service. This applies to all team members, including admins.
