Whether you're subscribed via the web dashboard, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store, updating your billing information is easy. Just follow the steps below based on how you originally subscribed.
If You Upgraded via the Web Dashboard
If you upgraded your MileIQ subscription on our website—whether through a direct link, with a discount code, or manually—follow these steps:
Log in to your MileIQ account using your registered email address and password.
From the left-hand panel, click on Subscription, then select Manage Subscription.
Update your billing information as needed.
If You Upgraded via Apple App Store or Google Play Store
If you subscribed through your mobile device using Apple or Google, your billing is managed directly by them.
What Happens if a Payment Fails?
Apple and Google will typically notify you and prompt you to update your payment method.
If billing details aren't updated in time, your subscription may be automatically canceled.
Don't worry—your driving logs are always saved and accessible via the web dashboard.
If payment issues persist for more than 7 days, you have two reactivation options:
Option 1: Reactivate Through Apple or Google
For Android Devices
Open the Google Play Store.
Tap your Account Icon (top right).
Go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
Select your MileIQ subscription to update or renew.
For Apple Devices
Open the Settings app.
Tap your name at the top, then select Subscriptions.

Choose your MileIQ subscription to:
Update payment info
Renew a lapsed subscription
Share with Family Sharing (if eligible)
Enable renewal receipts

Option 2: Renew via the Web Dashboard
Log in at dashboard.mileiq.com using the same email you use for the app.
Choose your preferred Monthly or Annual plan and click Select.
For Google Play Users – How to Update Payment Info
Open the Play Store on your Android device.
Tap your Account Icon (top right).
Go to Payments & subscriptions > Payment methods.
Add or edit your card details.
Make sure to save your changes.
