Upgrade Made via Web Dashboard?
If you've upgraded through our web dashboard, used a discount code, or simply followed a direct upgrade link, here's how to update your billing info:
1. Login to your MileIQ account using your MileIQ registered email address & password.
2. Once you're logged in, proceed to the left panel, click on "Subscription," then tap "Manage Subscription."
Upgraded on Your Phone?
For those who upgraded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which are the default payment methods for iPhones/iPads and Android devices, please review the following steps:
- If your payment doesn't go through successfully, no worries! Apple and Google will usually send you a nudge to fix your billing info within a few days.
- If the info isn't fixed, your subscription will be canceled automatically (don't worry, your driving logs are safely on the web dashboard).
- If your phone's payment attempts keep doing the limbo for 7 days, don't panic! You've got options:
1. Reactivate through the original billing service:
- For Android Devices (Samsung, LG, Google, Motorola, HTC, and more), head to Google Play's "Manage Subscriptions and Services."
- Apple Devices (iPhone and iPads), manage your iTunes subscriptions.
2. Renew through the web dashboard. Just log in using the same email and password as your app. Click "Select" next to the monthly or annual plan you prefer.
Apple App Store Users:
To update your billing information:
- Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
- From here, you can:
- Change an existing subscription.
- Renew an expired subscription.
- Share an eligible subscription with other family members in your Family Sharing group.
- Turn on Renewal Receipts.

Google Play Store Users:
To update your billing information:
1. Open up the Play Store on your device.
2. Click on your Account Icon (upper right corner).
3. Tap on "Payments & subscriptions."
4. Hit "Payment methods" and add your updated or new card.
5. Don't forget to "Update/Save."
