Help: Why am I not receiving my report emails?

📬 Help: Why Am I Not Receiving My Report Emails?

If you’ve requested a Monthly, Annual, or Custom MileIQ report but haven’t received it, don’t worry—there are a few common reasons why this can happen. Use the steps below to troubleshoot.

đź“‚ 1. Check Your Spam or Clutter Folder

The most common reason is that the report email was marked as spam or sent to the Clutter folder (in Outlook).

  • Check your Spam, Junk, or Clutter folders for an email from:
    📧 mileiq@hello.mileiq.com

  • If you find the report email there, mark it as Not Spam to help future emails land in your inbox.

âś… Tip:
Add mileiq@hello.mileiq.com to your email provider’s safe senders list. If you use a company email, ask your IT or network admin to whitelist this address.

đź”’ 2. Check for Spam Blockers, Firewalls, VPNs, or Proxies

If the report isn't in spam, your email or internet settings might be blocking it before it reaches your inbox.

  • Some spam blockers automatically open and delete emails, making it appear that you’ve received them—even if you haven't.

  • Corporate firewalls, VPNs, or proxy servers may intercept the email before it reaches your inbox.

âś… Tip:
Check your organization’s email security settings or domain control panel for filters that may flag or delete MileIQ messages. If you’re on a company network, ask your IT team to verify this.

✉️ 3. Still No Email? Try Updating Your Email Address

If none of the above worked, you can request to update the email address associated with your MileIQ account.

đź’ľ 4. Download Reports from Report History (Web Dashboard)

If your report isn’t arriving via email, you can download it directly from the MileIQ web dashboard.

  • Go to the Report History section to view and download any Custom Reports you've created.

Note: Only reports created using the web dashboard's Custom Report option will appear in the Report History.

How to recreate a missing Monthly or Annual Report:

  1. Log in to the MileIQ Web Dashboard

  2. Use the Custom Report tool

  3. Set the Date Range to match your desired monthly or annual period

  4. Generate and download the report from Report History

âś… Tip:
Bookmark the web dashboard so you can access your reports any time—even if emails don’t come through.
