LeasePlan FAQs

  1. Why can’t I get my drives to come over to the MyLeasePlan app?
    • Ensure you have entered in your valid MileIQ email and password when prompted.
    • Ensure you have classified the drive as “Business” in the MileIQ app or the web dashboard at dashboard.mileiq.com. Only drives classified as “Business” will transfer over to the MyLeasePlan app.
  2. Why do I have to log into the MileIQ app again while I’m in the MyLeasePlan app?
    • MileIQ is a separate application that LeasePlan uses through a partnership. The drives stored through MileIQ will need your authorization to pull any of your selected data into the MyLeasePlan application.
  3. Is there a base technical requirement for using MyLeasePlan on my mobile device?
    • The base requirement for Apple is iOS 9.x - 11.x, and Android 4.1 – 7.x.
  4. I imported the wrong drive to MyLeasePlan. How do I remove it?
    • In the MileIQ Web Dashboard, select the applicable drive and update the drive classification to “Personal.” Then log into the MyLeasePlan app, and select the “Get Reimbursed” link. This changed drive will automatically be displayed in a pop-up message saying it has been removed from your history. Check your employer’s Mileage Reimbursement Policy for any applicable rules regarding timeframes for corrections.
  5. MyLeasePlan isn’t remembering my username. How do I fix this?
    • For your MyLeasePlan app user name, select the “Save Profile” button on the Log-In screen. For the MileIQ username, update your Chrome settings to enable the “save passwords” function.
  6. Why can’t I see the reimbursement icon in MyLeasePlan?
    • Check with your employer to confirm you have been enrolled in the Mileage Reimbursements program. Either you have not been enrolled, or your enrollment has ended.
  7. Why does it show $0 for my reimbursement rate in MileIQ?
    • The rate for cents per mile reimbursement is set up in the LeasePlan systems by your employer and will only appear in the MyLeasePlan app as a result. The MyLeasePlan app will show you the estimated reimbursement amount and mileage reimbursement rate.
  8. I can’t get into the MyLeasePlan app, what do I do?
    • Confirm the app on your device is the most current version.
    • Attempt to use the forgot user ID and/or forgot user password feature.

    • Check your employer’s Mileage Reimbursement Policy for reimbursement submittal timeframes.
  10. MyLeasePlan isn’t calculating my mileage reimbursement correctly.
    • Check your employer’s Mileage Reimbursement Policy for the applicable cents per mile rate. Otherwise, confirm the applicable rate with your employer. Your employer should communicate with LeasePlan if the mileage reimbursement is not calculated as expected.
  11. MyLeasePlan doesn’t have the right mileage reimbursement rate, how do I fix that?
    • Check your employer’s Mileage Reimbursement Policy for the applicable cents per mile rate. Otherwise, confirm the applicable rate with your employer. Your employer should communicate with LeasePlan if the mileage reimbursement is not calculated as expected.
  12. I left my company and need to track my mileages at my new employer. Can I use MileIQ to submit mileages to my new employer?

    • Check your employer’s Mileage Reimbursement Policy for tax statement information.
