How to: Add Vehicles (UK)

MileIQ’s Vehicles feature makes it easy to log the vehicle associated with your drives and the annual odometer reading for each vehicle.

Vehicles can be added from within the Mobile App or from the Web Dashboard and will be included in requested reports. Whether you use one vehicle or multiple, you can add detailed information like kind, make, model, year, nickname, and annual odometer readings. You can also set a default vehicle or quickly select the appropriate vehicle directly from MileIQ’s Drive Cards.

Mobile App

Within the Mobile App, you can add a vehicle from the Personalisation section of MileIQ or on the Drive Details section of any Drive Card.

Drive Card

If you've just taken a drive, the easiest way to add a vehicle is from the Car Icon at the bottom of the Drive Card. Simply tap the Car Icon and then 'Add New Vehicle'.

If you haven't added a vehicle yet, you'll immediately see the Vehicle Details screen. If you've already added a vehicle, you'll have the option to select between that vehicle or 'Add New Vehicle'. If you have more than one vehicle listed, you may need to click 'Show More' before you see the 'Add New Vehicle" choice.

To start, enter the kind of vehicle, whether it’s a car/van, motorcycle, or cycle. After this, there are options to enter the Make, Model, Year, Nickname, and Odometer Readings. To make the current vehicle the primary vehicle for the account, toggle the Primary Vehicle switch. When the switch is green, that vehicle is set to Primary.

Once logged in, you should see all your drives. Like the mobile app, there are two ways to add a vehicle from the MileIQ Web Dashboard: from the Drive Details form on the back of the Drive Card or from the Vehicles section of the Settings page.
