All About Team Locations

Team-wide Named Locations

Simplify your team’s reports with our Team Locations feature. Assign custom names to frequently visited locations (e.g., “Office,” “Warehouse,” “Supplier”), and these names will appear in future driver reports.

Here’s how to manage Team Locations for your team:

1. Add Locations Individually

Follow these steps to add a location manually:

  1. Log in to your MileIQ for Teams admin dashboard and go to the Team Locations tab.
  2. Click Add Team Location in the top-right corner.
  3. In the Address field, type the location’s address and select it from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter a unique name for the location (e.g., “Office”) in the Location Name field.
  5. Click Add to save.

2. Bulk Upload Locations

To add multiple locations at once:

  1. Log in to your MileIQ for Teams admin dashboard and go to the Team Locations tab.
  2. Click Add Team Location in the top-right corner.
  3. In the pop-up window, select Upload a list of Locations.
  4. Download the template by clicking Download CSV Template.
  5. Fill out the template with your locations and upload it by either dragging the file into the upload field or clicking Choose File.

Once uploaded, all the new locations will appear in your Team Locations list.

 

 

Suggested Team Locations

Our Team Locations feature is now includes suggested locations based on where your drivers visit frequently. Adding these suggested locations as Team Locations is super simple! We’ll also show you how many drivers have visited the location and how often they’ve been there.

How to Add Suggested Locations

  1. Select a Suggested Location:
    • Choose a location from the list of suggested options provided.
  2. Review Location Details:
    • The location details will appear on the right-hand side of your screen.
    • Here, you can enter a custom name for the location that will appear in your list of Team Locations.
  3. Save the Location:
    • Once you’ve entered the desired name, click “Save” to add it to your Team Locations.

That’s it! Your newly added location will now be available for your team, making it easier to track and manage visits.

 

Important Notes

  • Named Locations will only appear on new driver reports — your drivers won’t see these names in their app or dashboard.
  • To avoid confusion, new Team Locations cannot be added within 200 meters of an existing one.

Editing or Removing Named Locations

You can update or remove a Named Location in just a few clicks:

  1. Locate the Named Location in the Team Locations tab.
  2. Click the (options menu) next to the location you want to modify.
  3. Select Remove to delete the location or Rename to update its name.

By adding Team Locations, you can streamline team reporting and improve clarity for everyone involved!
