Why?
In order for MileIQ to accurately detect all of your drives, Location Services need to be set to 'On' and 'Always' on iPhones and iPads. Rest assured that your data is private and will never be shared or sold.
Verifying Location Settings
To confirm your location settings are correct, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services (On) > MileIQ and make sure they're set to Always.
Important
iOS 13 now allows the option to use location services only when an app is in use. Do not select the "While Using the App" option, as it will prevent MileIQ from detecting drives consistently. For automatic drive detection to work, location services for MileIQ must be set to Always

Why do I need to grant access to track all my drives when I only need to log drives (business only) for work purposes?
When the app records a drive, there is no way to distinguish whether it was business-related. Therefore, we recommend enabling all settings to ensure that no drives are missed.
