We’d hate to see you go, but we understand if MileIQ isn’t right for you. Refund requests are generally a two-step process:
- Cancel your Active Subscription
- Confirm Payment Service and Request a Refund
Cancel Active Subscription
If you haven’t cancelled your subscription yet, please see our Cancellation Article. Ensure your cancellation before seeking a refund to avoid any inadvertent subscription renewal charges.
Not sure how you subscribed? Visit https://dashboard.mileiq.com and sign in using the same email and password as the MileIQ app. From there, click on Settings > Account > Subscription
As outlined in the MileIQ Terms of Service, you may be entitled to a prorated refund if we cancel the subscription without cause before the end of the subscription period. While subscriptions are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in writing by MileIQ, we understand there are extenuating circumstances that require additional consideration.
As we offer several ways to purchase a premium subscription, each has a unique refund policy determined by the payment service. Please see your payment service below to determine your options.
Google Play will provide refunds within certain time windows. A customer can process his/her own refund on a purchase made within the last 2 hours in Google Play under Order History. See Google Play Apps, games, & in-app purchases (including subscriptions) for details.
To request a refund on a subscription purchased within the last 48 hours, you can contact Google Play support.

While the iTunes terms state “All Transactions are final,” Apple will provide a refund at its discretion to users that have subscribed via iTunes if there were technical issues that prevented the use of a product. You can submit a refund request to Apple. Terms and Conditions apply.
Direct Purchase from MileIQ
Premium subscriptions purchased directly through MileIQ (via the Web Dashboard or an email) are subject to our Terms of Service, as stated above. If you need to request a refund, reach out to email@example.com and a Customer Success agent will review your request. Please see “Additional Information” below.
Refund requests outside the specified payment service terms will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org from the email associated with your MileIQ account and include:
- The reason for your refund request
- Any order numbers or receipt information you have
Please do not include credit card or bank account details. A member of our Customer Success team will get back to you after reviewing your request.
PLEASE NOTE: For certain payment platforms, MileIQ is unable to credit charges back to the original form of payment. For those subscriptions, if a refund is granted, it will be provided in the form of an electronic gift card in an equivalent amount.
