How to: Create a Report through the Dashboard (Advanced)

Once drives are classified, you can create detailed custom reports through our MileIQ Web Dashboard in the Drives view. To learn how to simply create a report in the Reports view, see How to: Create a Report through the Dashboard (Simple).

Note: If you need to finish updating your drives, you can do it fast by using filters and bulk actions on your web dashboard. For more information, see How to: Bulk Classify.

First, you'll want to adjust the date range of drives to be shown. In the Drives View, click the Date Filter and then use the drop-down calendar to select a start date AND an end date for a custom range. You can also use preset filters like "This month" or "Last year" to pick a date range. The drives list below will display all the drives within the specified date range.

You can then filter the data by auto or manually classified drives and custom purposes.

To select the drives to be included in your report, click on the checkbox next to "XX matching drives," where XX is the number of drives as determined by the date and classification filters you selected.

Once the drives are selected, you will see a multiple drive card appear in the right-hand pane. If all drives are classified, the "Report" button will be blue. If the "Report" button is grayed out, then some of the drives selected may be unclassified. Before generating the report, classify your drives, then the "Report" button will be blue.

In the Enter report details pop-up window, give your report a name (required), select a delivery method, specify a custom rate for your business miles (optional) and add other optional details if desired. Click the ‘Create Report’ button to send the report.

That's it! Your report will then be sent to your email address on file.
